Some Choice Clips from This Week’s Simpsons Episode “Crook and Ladder”

This first clip is of Homer ready and waiting for the fire alarm that could go off at any moment. Homer’s sleepwalking sort of crippled the Fire Department is a horrific incident and so Homer and some others volunteer for the Fire Department.

This next clip is of Bart and Milhouse taking advantage of Homer’s sleepwalking.

Here are some quotes from this episode that I thought were worth repeating:

Bart: Why am I sleeping when right next door is every kid’s dream - - a fat, suggestible, zombie dad?

Homer: Oh, why must I have 3 kids and no money, when I can have no kids and 3 money!?

Mayor Quimby: It is with great pride that I place the safety of our city in the hands of the first four people who showed up.

Marge: Just come back alive.
Homer: Don’t tell me how to do my job!

Homer: Moe, I can save you if you let go of the grandfather clock.
Moe: But it’s been in my family for 40 seconds!

Homer: Moe! I need to talk to you!
Moe: Are you kidding Homer! it’s 500 degrees in here! (Checks Therometer) Oh, it’s only 495 degrees. What’s on your mind?
